If your T|X isn't under
If your T|X isn't under warranty open up the case, disconnect and reconnect the battery.
If it is under warranty leave it be for a week or two (don't have it on cahrger or anything) and the battery will die enough for a reboot to work after a quick charge.

If you open the palm, you dont need to disconnect and reconnect the batery, the old 486 bios trick will work.
just connect both batery contacts with a piece of metal, close the palm and plug the carger, it will be alive!
