Let me see... I don't remember which bootloader z72 is using, but you can definitely hot-sync garux or cocoboot. However you need to copy rootfs too, that requires access to SD card. So you also need some kind of card-reader.

Just download http://releases.hackndev.com/Angstrom-Opie-PalmZ72-v085.tar.bz2 and unpack it to the SD Card.

Then, from PalmOS, run Cocoboot from the SD and click on 'Boot'.

That's it!

Yes!! Managed to run my zire 72 with LINUX thanks Guys...
There is a lot apps there. Cool.
But some of it not stable it hangs.
So have to revert back to Palm OS.

He posted the link (on the previous topic) to download opie for Zire72. Just unzip it and, using CardExport, put all the files on the SD card and boot with cocoboot.
